Every year the 6th St Agnes Group attends the Remembrance Day service at Cates Park out near Deep Cove in North Vancouver.  At this site the service is a Maritime-themed one, with boats from organizers at Burrard Yacht Club moored off shore and those of us on land attending at the beach right behind the concession.  In the past the 6th has prepped hot dogs for its own youth, but this has grown to all uniformed scouts/guides attending and veterans, with the surplus being offered up by donation to the general public.  This year our donation bucket collected $551.15, all of which went to the Royal Canadian Legion #114 in Lynn Valley to beef up their poppy fund and go straight to our veterans!  Congratulations to all 6th St Agnes personnel who participated, we had excellent representation from all sections!
